An American round cast iron griddle featuring a shallow rimmed cooking surface and an integral tapered handle with a teardrop-shaped hanging hole. follow the upper perimeter; the number 8, the pattern number 738, and a maker letter E are located in the upper central section. A large circular logo at the bottom shows a cross with the name GRISWOLD in slanted capital letters within the horizontal bar.
