A late 19th-century cast iron waffle iron produced by the Griswold Manufacturing Company. An impressed mark on the exterior of the top paddle is readable as GRISWOLD MFG CO ERIE PA around a central circular medallion impressed with THE AMERICAN (Photo 3). Measurements: 10 in.
