Lot 779:
Description
A mid-century modern Brutalist pendant chandelier featuring a three-light configuration. The fixture is constructed from hand-wrought, torch-cut metal with a multi-tiered, open-cage lantern form characterized by jagged, organic edges and a textured gilt and blackened finish. The central interior column houses three E12 candelabra-base sockets fitted with plastic candle-style sleeves featuring simulated wax drips. The fixture is suspended by a chain and includes a ceiling canopy kit. No permanent maker marks, signatures, or factory stamps are present on the metalwork or electrical components. Two non-original paper tags are attached to the unit. One white printed label features a blue logo and text reading Actonel with handwritten black ink characters reading Profet $125. A second tan rectangular tag features handwritten black ink text reading Torch followed by an illegible word and $325. The wiring is aged and terminates in a loose ceiling canopy.
