Description
An assortment of American residential door hardware from the late 19th to early 20th century. The collection includes knobs crafted from cast iron, brass, bronze, nickel-plated metal, and glazed black porcelain. Design variations include concentric ring patterns and plain, undecorated faces. Several knobs are still attached to their original square spindles, including threaded and pinned versions. One bronze-toned knob features the handwritten characters 1 and 2 in black ink on its face. A red paper hang tag shows the partial printed text Spe.
