Description
A pair of glazed earthenware kitchen canisters manufactured by Holiday Designs. The set includes a larger flour canister and a smaller coffee canister, both featuring cylindrical bodies finished in an off-white glossy glaze. The canisters are paired with vibrant orange high-gloss lids designed with a domed shape and a mushroom-style knob handle. The front of each canister is decorated with stylized, whimsical black typography in a hand-lettered style. An incised mark reading holiday designs is located on the lower exterior reverse edge near the base of each vessel. The underside of the larger canister base features a stamped numeric mark reading 4646 followed by a small indistinct rectangular mark. The smaller canister base is stamped with the numeric mark 4647 and a similar indistinct mark. The interior of at least one lid is stamped with the numbers 6640.
