Description
This set consists of three hand-turned hardwood exercise clubs, commonly known as Indian clubs, used for physical conditioning. The collection features one tall central club and two smaller matched clubs. The two smaller clubs are distinguished by decorative incised concentric rings around the neck and handle area. Each club is turned from a single piece of solid hardwood, and the bases retain the small circular center-marks from the lathe turning process. The wood displays a dark, aged patina throughout. No maker marks, labels, or signatures are present on any of the items. Large club height: approximately 20 5/8 inches Smaller clubs height: approximately 17 1/2 inches.
