Description
An dual-pulley home exercise system constructed from cast iron, steel, and stained wood. The apparatus is designed for wall mounting and consists of a dark-stained shaped wooden headboard supporting two swiveling cast iron pulley brackets. A rectangular metal nameplate is affixed to the center of the wooden board and reads Spalding HOME Apparatus. The model designation No. 12 is stamped directly into the wood above the nameplate. Two sets of vertical metal guide rods descend from the top brackets to a base assembly meant to rest on the floor. Each side features a stack of rectangular cast iron weights that slide along the guide rods. The system utilizes hemp ropes threaded through four pulleys, terminating in stirrup-style handles with metal frames and turned wooden grips.
