Description
This lot features two large decorative textiles. The first is a Chinese-made woven poncho crafted from a heavyweight cream-colored fabric. The design includes four serrated diamond medallions rendered in black, burgundy, and light blue yarns. A wide horizontal border near the fringed edge displays a black and white Greek key pattern between thin red stripes. The piece is finished with a twisted cream-colored fringe. A small red oval adhesive label is attached to the interior edge near the head opening, which reads MADE IN CHINA in white lettering. The second item is a large rectangular textile printed with a chocolate brown and cream Polynesian-style pattern. The allover design features large eight-petaled hibiscus flowers, geometric bands of triangles and diamonds, and stylized leaf motifs. The fabric is a medium-weight weave with hemmed edges. 50×51 and 62×52
