Description
This lot consists of three carved wooden canoe paddles featuring painted and stained finishes. Two of the paddles are finished in a dark charcoal stain and are accented with hand painted light blue bands at the throat of the blade and below the grip. These two paddles are constructed with wide, rounded blades and T style grips. The third paddle is finished in a distressed red paint and features a narrower, elongated blade with a tapered grip. The red paddle bears the incised characters 25 on the face of the grip. No maker marks, brand labels, or other identifiers are visible on the paddles.56 and 60 in tall.
