Description

This group of mid-to-late 20th-century costume jewelry is composed of base metals in gold-tone and silver-tone finishes, featuring faux pearls, glass rhinestones, and enamel accents. The collection includes several signed items. A flat gold-tone herringbone chain necklace features a fold-over clasp marked with a raised copyright symbol followed by the name Monet. A two-strand floral collar necklace consists of textured gold-tone leaf links and silver-tone flower heads, each set with a central round clear rhinestone; its hook clasp is marked with an impressed copyright symbol and the name KRAMER. Brooches in the collection include an openwork gold-tone leaf swirl bearing a raised rectangular cartouche containing a copyright symbol and the name MONET on the reverse, and a textured gold-tone feather bearing a raised copyright symbol and the name Monet on the reverse. Additional items include a scalloped gold-tone link necklace set with faux pearls and rhinestones, a link necklace featuring alternating cream-colored enamel inserts and textured gold-tone metal, a heavy-gauge rope chain, and a single strand of grey and white simulated pearls. The group is completed by a gold-tone bracelet with interlocking rhinestone-set links, a pav?-set rose brooch, a stylized polished plume brooch, and a pair of faux pearl drop earrings with rhinestone accents.
