Description
This is a hand-carved figurine of a Chinese female figure, likely a celestial maiden or the immortal He Xian Gu. The figure is depicted in a standing pose, holding a stylized lotus blossom in her left hand. The figurine is crafted from carved bovine bone and features traditional flowing robes with deep undercutting to create movement and layered fabric. The hair is intricately detailed and styled into an elaborate, high chignon. The figure is mounted on a separate, turned dark wood base featuring three small bun feet. There are no maker marks, signatures, or reign marks visible on the figure or the base.
