Description
This Western-style vest is constructed from black grain leather with contrasting red suede embellishments. The garment features a deep V-neckline and an open front design. Extensive red suede detailing includes four-strand flat braided trim applied along the edges, armholes, and fringe headers. Hand-cut red suede fringe is applied in a V-shaped pattern across the chest and back. A circular hand-beaded rosette is centered on the upper back, worked in red, white, light blue, dark blue, and yellow glass seed beads in a geometric sunburst pattern. The rosette is finished with a central black horsehair tassel. The front closures consist of two natural antler slice buttons with red suede cord ties passed through central holes. The vest is unlined, showing the sueded reverse side of the black leather on the interior. There is a small, illegible white tag on the lower interior front edge.
