Description
A Tudor Tru-Action Electric Football Game, manufactured by the Tudor Metal Products Corp. of Brooklyn, New York. This Model No. 500 set features a rectangular metal playing field finished in dark green with white yard lines, numbers, and goal markings, encased in a red-painted metal frame. The game is powered by an attached black electrical cord with an inline thumb-wheel on/off switch. The set is accompanied by its original illustrated cardboard storage box, which displays the Toy Guidance Council seal with a 1954 Educator Approved date. Also included is a small internal accessory box containing a collection of flat, die-cut metal player figurines in blue and silver-white finishes, as well as a yellow metal H-frame goal post. Printed markings on the field rail and box include Patent No. 2167988 and electrical specifications for 110V AC only. Box is loose.
