Description
A hand-carved stone sculptural bust depicting a United States Army Special Forces soldier, identified by inscription as Master Sergeant Jerry Haney. The figure is portrayed wearing a military beret featuring a carved Special Forces crest consisting of a vertical dagger over crossed arrows set upon a shield-shaped flash. The soldier is shown in uniform with a visible collar. The bust is carved from a mottled, translucent stone with natural reddish-brown veining and inclusions, likely soapstone or alabaster, and is mounted on a contoured dark wood base.
