Description
This is a 1965 edition of the board game Go For Broke: The Game of Spend a Million, manufactured by the Selchow and Righter Company. The game is a satirical board game where the objective is to be the first player to spend one million dollars. The set features a large folding game board made of lithographed cardboard with colorful graphics depicting various ways to lose money, including a stock market, race track, and casinos. The included components consist of a large quantity of play money in green, yellow, pink, and blue denominations, two decks of orange-backed cards for Spend and Receive actions, four plastic playing pawns, and two dice in green and yellow. The game is contained within its original illustrated cardboard box, which features a built-in organizer tray for the various components. The box lid is marked Copyright 1965 by Selchow and Righter Co. and Made in U.S.A. The side of the box includes a circular Selchow and Righter trademark logo and identifies the manufacturer as publishers of fine games since 1867. The game board also bears the 1965 copyright mark.
