Description
A collection of miscellaneous furniture hardware components including drawer pull backplates, bails, and decorative elements. The assortment features several pieces in the Chippendale and Queen Anne revival styles, primarily willow and batwing pattern backplates with scrolling silhouettes. One notable component is a large circular decorative medallion or escutcheon featuring a relief-molded rosette or sunburst motif centered within a foliate scroll border. The items are constructed from cast metal, primarily brass and bronze-plated base metal. The group includes approximately 12 to 15 backplate designs and several loose handles.
