Description
Two traditional black powder horns of varying sizes, typically used for main charge and priming. The larger horn features a dark, polished tip with several turned concentric rings at the spout, transitioning to a translucent greenish-brown and tan horn body. It is fitted with a turned wooden base plug secured by small metal pins. A central wooden peg in the base plug is attached to a length of natural fiber rope. The smaller priming horn is constructed from light-colored, cream-to-tan horn and fitted with a flat wooden base plug, also secured by metal pins. A metal eyelet is screwed into the center of the smaller horn base, which holds a thin leather carrying strap.
