Description
This collection consists of clear glass milk bottles from various regional United States dairies, showcasing both square and round forms along with applied color labels and embossed details. The lot includes square bottles with decorative graphics and specialized Cream Top neck designs. One bottle from Koontz Creamery of Baltimore, Maryland, features a square body with red applied color labels. The graphics include a woman with a baby carriage and the text First with the Carriage Trade, Liberty 4300, and B.C.H.D. 50 Milk Plant. A second square bottle represents Nelson Dairy of Jamestown, New York. It features red applied color labels with a stylized n logo and the text Nelson dairy. The lower portion includes the address Martin Road, Jamestown, N.Y. and zip code 14701, indicating a production date after 1963. A third square bottle from Steuer’s Dairy of Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, features multi-colored applied color graphics on all four sides in red, orange, green, and black.
