Lot 298:
Description
This group comprises an oval-shaped gold-filled locket pendant and a set of four matching shirt studs. The locket features a front face engraved with a stylized script monogram centering on the letter M, with a plain reverse. A side hinge opens to reveal two oval portrait chambers containing black-and-white photographs of men in early 20th-century attire. The locket is suspended from a simple jump ring bail. The set of four matching shirt studs is made of gold-toned metal, each set with a single round-cut clear stone approximately 4mm in diameter. Each stone is framed by a rope-twist border and a small openwork decorative flourish. No hallmarks or maker’s marks are visible on the pieces.
