Lot 26:
Description
This cast iron skillet was manufactured by the Lodge Manufacturing Co. in the United States. The pan features a round body with two side pour spouts and a teardrop-shaped handle with a hanging hole. The base is constructed with a distinctive three-notch heat ring, characterized by breaks at the 9, 3, and 6 o’clock positions. The underside of the skillet features a large incised numeral 8 indicating its size, with a smaller incised letter B located directly below it as a mold identifier. The lack of a Made in USA mark suggests a manufacturing date in the 1940s or 1950s.
