Description
A set of 4 original equipment manufacturer (OEM) exterior body badges manufactured by General Detroit for the Pontiac Division of General Motors. This collection is compatible with mid-1960s Pontiac models including the 1965-1967 LeMans, Tempest, and Firebird equipped with the 326 cubic inch V8 engine. The set includes one block-letter Pontiac emblem, a pair of 326 engine displacement badges, and one checkered flag engine badge featuring the number 3. The items are constructed from die-cast zinc pot metal with chrome plating and colored paint infill. The reverse of the main Pontiac emblem is stamped with General Detroit and part number 9782962. The engine displacement badges are incised with part numbers 9787903 and 9787904. PONTIAC emblem length: approximately 10-12 inches.
