Description
This Racing Champions Mint Special Issue Set #1 features a collection of die-cast metal vehicles and corresponding emblems, issued in 1996. The set includes five 1:64 scale vehicles in colors exclusive to this production: a red Dodge Viper RT/10, a black Chevrolet pickup truck, a blue Ford Mustang Cobra Jet 428, a red Chevrolet Impala SS, and a lavender Chevrolet Corvette convertible. Most vehicles feature opening hoods. The set is accompanied by six collectible gold-tone emblems or plates: a Dodge Viper logo, a Chevrolet bowtie logo, a Cobra Jet 428 snake graphic logo, an Impala SS logo, a Chevrolet Corvette logo, and a central commemorative plate inscribed Racing Champions Mint Edition Issue #1. The items are housed in the original retail window box with a red vac-form internal tray. The packaging includes inscriptions such as Special Issue Set, The Colors Of Vehicles And Emblems Are Exclusive To This Set, and 1996 Set Issue #1. A retail price sticker from Hills department store is present on the upper right corner of the box.
