Description
This lot features two metal vessels consisting of a Mid-Century Modern tea kettle and a traditional brass pitcher. The tea kettle is manufactured by G. Bredemeyer and is constructed with a brass body featuring a faceted, tiered design and a brass swing handle. The kettle has a copper base that bears a circular stamped mark reading G. BREDEMEYER HILVERSUM MADE IN HOLLAND surrounding a central square emblem with a stylized four-petal floral motif. The lid is fitted with a black synthetic knob. The accompanying brass pitcher has a bulbous body with a wide flared rim and a cast C-scroll handle. The pitcher lacks a maker mark and shows concentric machining marks on the underside.
