Lot 174:
Description
A set of modular napkin rings presented in a coordinating rectangular tray, crafted from silver-toned metal. The tray is supported by four ball feet and features a low gallery with a rounded end plate. The set includes multiple square-section rings, each open at both ends. The rings are decorated on one face with an applied circular rosette featuring a six-petal floral motif and are topped with a fluted globular finial. The design is characteristic of North African or Middle Eastern folk art styles. While visually similar to the modular elements of a Hanukkah lamp, the open-ended construction and eight-piece configuration are consistent with a napkin ring set.
