This lot features two 1:24 scale diecast model cars representing the 1997 NASCAR Winston Cup season, manufactured by Action Performance Companies, Inc. The first model is a Jeff Gordon #24 Chevrolet Monte Carlo in a special DuPont Chroma Premier gold-tone livery. Produced for the Racing Collectables Club of America (RCCA), the car features the signature rainbow color scheme on the front and facsimile Jeff Gordon signatures on the roof. This item is a limited edition of 15,000 units, identified by product number C249716077-1 on the box. The second model is a Mike Skinner #31 Chevrolet Monte Carlo in the blue and yellow Lowe’s Home Improvement Warehouse livery. This Action Platinum Series model includes the Owens Corning Pink Panther mascot on the rear decklid and Lowe’s branding on the hood. This item is a limited edition of 7,008 units, identified by product number W249716177 on the box. Both cars include their original boxes and custom-fit Styrofoam packaging. The Mike Skinner model retains its original protective tissue wrapping.
