Description
10x6x4 An antique American miner’s pedestal spout lamp, historically referred to as a sunshine lamp. The set consists of two detachable components: a cylindrical oil lamp with an angled wick spout and a tall pedestal stand mounted to a D-shaped drip tray base. The lamp reservoir features a hinged lid with a small central vent hole and fits into a socketed holder at the top of the pedestal. The stand includes a vertical support column with a reinforcing diagonal brace and a curved loop handle. The base tray is finished with a crimped decorative edge. The item is constructed from tin-plated iron. No maker’s marks, labels, or stamps are visible on any surface of the lamp or the stand.
