Description
This collection comprises colorless pressed glass in the Palm Wreath pattern, produced by the Millersburg Glass Company of Ohio during the Early American Pattern Glass (EAPG) period. The decorative scheme features radiating stylized palm fronds arranged in a wreath configuration, enclosing complex starburst or hobstar motifs. The group includes two tapered cylindrical tumblers, one footed goblet, and one small pitcher. The goblet features a rounded bowl supported by a molded pedestal stem with vertical beading and a foot decorated with a radiating star pattern. The pitcher has a bulbous body, a tapered neck with a flared spout, and a molded handle with beaded ornamentation. Each glass piece bears a temporary handwritten identification label. Accompanied by a black and white postcard depicting the interior of the Millersburg Glass Co. mixing room. The postcard includes printed identification on the front and a standard divided back with period postal information. 5-5.5 in tall
