Description
A hand-tooled leather shoulder bag featuring folk-art decorative elements. The bag is crafted from thick, vegetable-tanned leather in a deep brown color with an aged patina. The front flap and back panel display extensive hand-stamped geometric and scalloped patterns. The side and bottom seams are joined with thick, hand-braided leather whipstitching. A large, white metal cross serves as a central decorative element on the front flap, featuring relief-decorated scrollwork and floral motifs. A leather strap and small buckle hidden behind the cross secure the bag. The shoulder strap is adjustable via a metal buckle and is attached to the body of the bag with metal rivets. The interior is unlined with a natural suede finish. There are no maker’s marks or labels present on the piece. 11×11
