Description
A circular unit plaque for the Headquarters of the 315th Engineer Group (Construction), United States Army Reserve (USAR). The plaque is constructed from circular galvanized sheet metal with a single centered mounting hole. The front face is finished in red paint with white graphics and text. The central design features the traditional three-towered castle insignia of the US Army Corps of Engineers. Text is arranged around the perimeter of the circle in a sans-serif typeface. The top arc reads 315TH ENGINEERS, the left arc reads HEADQUARTERS, the right arc reads GP. (CONST.), and the bottom arc reads USAR. The reverse side remains an unfinished galvanized surface displaying a characteristic mottled spangle pattern. Diameter: Approximately 8-12 inches.
