Description
A figural show towel holder depicting a hunter and his dog. The piece is constructed of multiple painted cast iron sections joined with two slotted screws visible at the rear of the base. The subject features a man in a wide-brimmed hat and blue coat smoking a pipe, with a rifle slung over his back. He stands beside a pointer dog on a grassy base, situated beneath a stylized green tree. The reverse of the figure features a projecting horizontal iron ring designed to support a decorative show towel. Height: 14 inches
