Description
This three-dimensional advertising sign was manufactured for the Duquesne Brewing Co. of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The unit is constructed in a house-like form with a peaked metal roof and a brass-toned finish. It features two illuminated translucent panels angled toward the viewer and a central vertical niche designed to house a 7 ounce pony bottle of beer. The included amber glass bottle features Sport-I-Duke branding and labels depicting The Duke mascot in a military-style uniform. The side panels are printed with text including SPORT-I-DUKE, 7 ounces of Duquesne, and its ELECTRONICALLY INSPECTED. The right panel displays a United States Testing Co. Inc. Premium seal. The reverse of the housing is equipped with a keyhole slot for wall mounting and a two-prong power cord. A production code is visible at the bottom of the left panel reading DUQUESNE BREWING CO. PITTSBURGH, PA., CODE #4570-59. 11×11 working
