Raber Antique Special Auction 8-31-2026
Lot 341:
Description
A trio of pressed glass bells manufactured by the Imperial Glass Company of Bellaire, Ohio. The collection includes two figural bells designed in the form of a woman in colonial-period dress, a design identified by factory records as the Suzanne or Colonial Bell model. One figural bell is executed in frosted pink satin glass, and the matching bell is rendered in transparent amber glass. The amber example retains its original interior paper label specifying model 51844. The third bell features a tapered handle with leaf molding and a blue iridescent carnival glass finish. Its exterior is decorated with a high-relief frieze of cherubs and stylized trees. All three pieces contain their original clear glass bead clappers suspended on metal chains. 6.5 in tall.
