2.5×3 A advertising porcelain enamelware mug promoting The Albert Dickinson Company seed products. The cup is constructed of steel with a white porcelain enamel finish featuring a black rim and handle. The exterior displays two distinct lithographed advertisements in blue, black, and green. One side features Dickinson’s Ace Clover Extra Re-Cleaned with a trademark logo consisting of a black spade within a green wreath containing a white letter D and the slogan A Trade Winner. The opposite side features Dickinson’s Pine Tree Timothy Seed with a central graphic of a green pine tree with a blue letter D at the base, noting an average purity test of 99.5 percent and the slogan It Stands Alone. The Albert Dickinson Company was a major American seed merchant based in Chicago during the early 20th century.
