The item features hand-stitched seams and is constructed as a rectangular case or bag, likely intended for use as a bolster cover, pillowcase, or storage bag. It is personalized with blue cross-stitch embroidery near one edge. The embroidery is arranged in two lines: the top line contains the block-style initials E A W, and the bottom line displays the date 1 8 + 6 2, featuring a small decorative cross symbol between the digits of the year.
