Description
This lot consists of two antique enameled metal pails with lids. The first pail is finished in a yellow enamel ground decorated with a brown stenciled foliage and berry motif. It features a wire bail handle with a turned wooden grip. The matching yellow enamel lid is fitted with a black tiered finial. The base of the pail bears a circular maker stamp for the Enterprise Enamel Company of Bellaire, Ohio, identifying it as part of their Corona line and noting its U.S. Patent Office registration. The second pail is finished in a blue and white marbled graniteware enamel pattern with a white enameled interior and a wire bail handle. This pail includes a dark metal lid with a simple wire loop handle. The base of the blue pail continues the marbled pattern but lacks visible maker marks. Both items are constructed of enameled sheet metal with wire hardware. Each is 5×6
