Description
24×9 This large-format antique kraut cutter is designed for high-volume cabbage processing. The tool features a long, heavy hardwood bed with raised side tracks that guide a removable, bottomless square wooden sliding hopper box. The center of the bed contains three parallel steel blades set at a diagonal angle to facilitate slicing. The frame is secured with flush-mounted metal bolts and screws. A single hole is drilled at the proximal end for hanging storage. The construction reflects standard rural farmstead kitchenware production from the late 19th through the early 20th century.
