Description
11 inches. Ny-Lint Tool & Mfg. Co. mechanical lift truck produced in Rockford, Illinois. This toy is constructed of pressed steel with a red finished upper body and a gray finished metal base. The toy is powered by an internal clockwork wind-up mechanism designed to provide automatic reverse and self-steering functionality. It features a manual lift lever on the side to operate the rear lifting platform. The underside displays the primary drive wheels and a central swiveling steering wheel. Identification includes a yellow and black paper label on the front housing that reads NY – LINT LIFT TRUCK, NY-LINT TOOL & MFG. CO., PAT. No. 2172416, ROCKFORD, ILL. A triangular decal on the top surface is marked MECHANICAL LIFT-TRUCK, NY-LINT TOYS, AUTOMATIC REVERSE SELF-STEERING.
