Description
This lot consists of three antique wooden hand screw clamps, a traditional tool used in joinery and cabinetmaking. The clamps are constructed entirely of hardwood and feature two adjustable jaws connected by two large-diameter threaded wooden spindles with integrated handles. This all-wood design utilizes a dual-screw mechanism to provide parallel or offset clamping pressure. The jaws are rectangular with a beveled taper at one end to facilitate use in confined spaces. The hardwood components exhibit a dark, naturally aged patina. No maker stamps or brand markings are visible on the tools. Dimensions: Jaws approximately 10 to 12 inches in length.
