Description
A trio of nested mixing bowls manufactured by Pyrex, a division of Corning. The set comprises three graduated bowls from the 400 series, constructed from white opal glass with fired-on exterior color finishes in yellow, green, and orange. The base of the smallest (orange) bowl is embossed with the following markings: 402 1 1/2 Qt – 1.5 L, PYREX, BY CORNING, Corning NY USA, BAKING AND MICROWAVE. The presence of the microwave marking indicates a production date in the late 1970s or later. The set includes a large yellow bowl, a medium green bowl, and a small orange bowl. Measurements: Small orange bowl (402): 1.5 quarts (1.5 liters) Medium green bowl (403): approximately 2.5 quarts Large yellow bowl (404): approximately 4 quarts.
