Description
18 in sign. This advertising piece from the DeKalb Agricultural Association serves as both a field variety marker and a spinner or weathervane. The double-sided sign is constructed from lithographed tin or light-gauge steel and features the company iconic winged ear of corn logo. The graphic depicts yellow kernels on an orange cob background with the name DE KALB printed in bold black capital letters across both sides. The sign is mounted to its original, characteristically bent heavy-gauge steel wire rod designed for field placement. The lithography remains vibrant with high legibility.
