Description
32×3.5 Frigidaire porcelain enamel advertising sign featuring the slogan COLD ALONE IS NOT ENOUGH. The sign is constructed from heavy-gauge metal finished with a white porcelain enamel front and a dark green porcelain enamel reverse. The text is rendered in dark blue block sans-serif lettering and is enclosed within a matching dark blue linear border. This specific tagline was utilized by Frigidaire during marketing campaigns in the late 1920s and 1930s to highlight the humidity-control features of their refrigeration units. The sign is designed for mounting with six brass-toned metal grommets located at the far left and right ends, as well as two pairs positioned along the top and bottom margins. A small white adhesive tag with the handwritten number 360 is present on the right side of the face.
