Description
18×47 glass top, base 12×30 This Post-Modern console table, dating to circa the 1980s, features a demilune form. The base consists of a semicircular pedestal constructed from rough-hewn, stacked tessellated stone tiles, often referred to as Mactan stone. Resting atop the pedestal are three polished stone spheres which support the glass top. The top is a single piece of clear, half-moon shaped glass with a polished edge. The design is in the style of Maitland-Smith and other late 20th-century manufacturers known for tessellated stone furniture.
