Description
6.5×6.5 base 28 in tall This decorative table lamp is designed in a Neoclassical Revival style, attributed to Concord Simone and likely dating from the 1970s. The lamp features a central cylindrical column made of dark grey fossiliferous stone, showcasing visible natural inclusions and a polished finish. This column is situated between two clear pressed glass components featuring fluted and beaded decorative patterns. The lamp sits on a square tiered base consisting of a matching fossiliferous marble slab over a square clear acrylic lucite plinth. The light assembly includes a brass-finished twin-socket cluster with dual pull-chain switches. Each chain is finished with a faceted clear crystal ball weight, complementing the faceted crystal sphere finial at the crown. The piece is fitted with a cream fabric empire-style paneled shade with vertical piping. A gold foil safety label on the socket is partially legible, reading CAUTION: MAX. 60 TYPE A LAMP.
