Description
This collection comprises two sets of mid-20th-century glass Christmas ornaments in their original retail boxes. The larger box is labeled as Shiny Brite Glass Christmas Tree Ornaments and contains various styles, including silvered indents with starburst centers, pink globes with glittered grid patterns, solid red and pink spheres, and ornaments featuring stenciled white snowflake designs. The smaller box is labeled Premier Glass Works, Inc., Irvington, N. J., U. S. A. and contains solid pink glass ornaments. All ornaments are constructed of hand-blown glass with metal hanging caps. The Shiny Brite box features green printed graphics and text. The Premier Glass Works box features a red graphic of Santa Claus. Metal caps are present on the ornaments, with some bearing the Shiny Brite Made in U.S.A. stamp.
