Description
A ten-piece collection of natural, carved, and polished mineral and gemstone specimens. The group includes three pieces presented on clear acrylic display risers: a rough specimen of turquoise botryoidal chrysocolla with emerald-green malachite banding; a vertical amethyst geode fragment featuring pale to medium purple crystals and a weathered host rock matrix; and a polished free-form labradorite specimen exhibiting blue and teal labradorescence. Additional items in the collection include a polished shallow bowl carved from mookaite jasper, displaying a palette of cream, yellow, and burgundy; a crescent moon carving made from banded amethyst; a polished and faceted hematoid quartz tower with reddish-brown iron-oxide inclusions; a polished translucent yellow calcite disk; an unpolished light-colored vesicular specimen; and two small tumbled stones, one of which is pinkish-orange.
