Description
large egg is 7 in long This lot consists of seven carved and polished mineral and stone objects, including representations of fruit, fungi, and a geometric form. Included are two carved apples, one fashioned from a translucent white banded stone resembling onyx or alabaster and another from a mottled red stone, likely red marble or jasper, both featuring dark slender stems. The collection also contains two egg-shaped carvings: a large specimen with horizontal bands of tan and brown consistent with petrified wood or banded jasper, and a smaller carnelian agate egg with translucent orange and red-brown banding. Two mushroom-shaped figurines are present, with the larger carved from Kambaba jasper showing dark green orbicular patterns and the smaller from banded white and grey agate. A dark, matte-finished eight-pointed geometric Merkaba star completes the collection.
