Description
46×46 This decorative wall hanging is a screen print on synthetic fabric, modeled after Salvador Dali’s watercolor illustrations for Dante Alighieri’s The Divine Comedy. The scene, identified by the Spanish inscription at the lower left as LA BARCA CON EL ANGEL BARQUERO / Purgatorio – Canto II, depicts an angel guiding a boat filled with souls. The imagery is rendered in a muted palette of sepia and tan with a single red brushstroke at the stern. The print is formatted as a scroll, suspended from two brass-toned metal rods finished with pointed finials. A printed signature reading Dali is visible within a rectangular border at the lower right. No edition numbers, blindstamps, or publisher marks are present.
