Description
25x25x21 A one-piece octagonal side cabinet or commode designed in the French Provincial revival style. The piece features a shaped, overhanging wood top with book-matched veneers arranged in a four-way star pattern. The octagonal body and tiered, flared base are finished in a distressed cream-colored paint with intentional dark fly-speck mottling and gold-painted accents along the lower edge. A single cupboard door is set into the front, featuring a gold-painted scrolled inset border and an antiqued metal drop-ring pull with a decorative backplate. The interior contains a single un-shelved open compartment finished to match the exterior paint. No manufacturer marks, labels, or stamps are visible on the exterior or interior surfaces.
