Description
A set of eight rectangular metal serving trays featuring a stylized Mid-Century Modern design. Each tray is constructed from lithographed tin with a cream-colored ground. The central decoration consists of a black rearing horse embellished with pink and gold caparisons. Flanking the central figure are geometric compositions of black and pink rectangles overlaid with gold starburst patterns. A dark maroon-brown Greek key or meander border frames the perimeter of the well, accented by gold-tone circular motifs at the four corners. The trays have raised, rounded rims typical of mid-20th-century snack or cocktail service. No maker marks or signatures are present. Dimensions: approximately 11 to 13 inches in length.
