Description
30x12x14 A mid-20th-century low console table in the Rococo Revival or Louis XV style. The rectangular inset marble top features natural grey and tan veining and is seated within a gilded frame of wood or composite material. The table is supported by four cabriole legs. The front and side aprons are heavily decorated with ornate carvings, including a central shell-and-scroll motif flanked by floral sprays and acanthus leaves. The back apron is straight, flat, and lacks decorative carving, suggesting the piece was designed to be placed against a wall or originally functioned as part of a larger vanity or dressing suite. Two mounting holes are visible on the back apron.
